Jason Richards

President and CEO

Jason brings over 10 years of product development, operations and sales experience in the network management industry.  Most recently Jason was with Packeteer, an industry leading pioneer in network monitoring, management and optimization technologies.  At Packeteer Jason held numerous roles in the Operations and Sales Teams and lead his regional sales team as one of the top performing regions int he world in 2007.  Prior to that Jason held a senior position in Engineering with Workfire Technologies, a British Columbia start up company building Internet Acceleration Technologies that was acquired in 2000, the largest software acquisition in Canada at the time.  Jason has a BS in Physics and a BS in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia.

Brent Bolleman

Chief Strategy Officer

Brent is an experienced entrepreneur with a background in nearly all aspects of business including sales, marketing, R&D, manufacturing, and finance.  Brent was the founder and CEO of Ontain Corporation and Sonigistix Corporation and raised over $20M in Venture Capital funding with those two ventures before taking them both through successful acquisitions.  Brent holds board positions with several Canadian and US based technology companies and two private equity funds.

Derek Lownsbrough

Vice President of Engineering

Derek has been developing pioneering network technology for over 15 years. Most recently, Derek was the Vice President of Engineering at Itiva, leading the development of new systems for high definition content distribution across the Internet. Previously, Derek was the lead technologist at Workfire Technologies, which was acquired in 2000.  Derek then spent almost six years with Packeteer leading the engineering teams responsible for classification and security. Derek brings leadership, experience and a history of success to Vineyard Networks. Derek holds a BA in English and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Victoria and holds three patents in network optimization.

Josh Zieske

Director of Operations

Josh brings over ten years of direct experience in the development of network management, data visualization and application acceleration technologies. Josh led the design and development of product quality frameworks at several leading network technology companies in Canada, Sweden and the United States.  As well as being extremely well versed in all aspects of development, Josh has extensive experience in system management and operations.  Josh has a BS in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia.

Steve Wandler

Board of Advisors

Steve was the Founder and CEO of YouTechOnline.com and the recipient of numerous honours including being named "Technology Business of the Year" by the Business Development Bank of Canada and "Small Business of the Year" by PC Magazine.  YourTechOnline.com was acquired by Support.com in 2008.  After working with Support.com to integrate the YourTechOnline model, Steve works with a number of companies in both Canada and the United States providing business guidance and advice.
